Owners Johnny & Kate Rodriguez and Lily & Patrick Steffes understand that the beauty salon experience is about more than a great cut and color. It’s about the relationship each client has with his or her stylist and making every client feel as good as they look. Johnny Rodriguez provides his clients with the highest level of customer service in addition to offering the latest in hair and beauty.

With more than 25 years in the beauty industry, Johnny Rodriguez has built a reputation as one of the most respected salon owners and stylists in North Texas. As the founder of Johnny Rodriguez the Salon, Johnny has dedicated his career to creating a luxury salon experience rooted in exceptional service, artistry, education, and genuine relationships with his clients.
Under Johnny’s leadership, the salon has earned numerous accolades and industry recognitions from respected publications including D Magazine, D Weddings, Dallas Observer, Looks Magazine, hey, hey! gorgeous™, and other regional and national beauty authorities. The salon has repeatedly been recognized among Dallas’ top salons and continues to set the standard for elevated hair and beauty services in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Known for his passion for the craft and commitment to continuing education, Johnny believes great hair is about more than appearance — it’s about confidence, trust, and helping people feel their absolute best. His attention to detail, warm personality, and dedication to client care have created lasting relationships with guests who have trusted him and his team for years.
Outside the salon, Johnny is a devoted husband to Kate, a proud father, and an avid animal lover. Whether he’s behind the chair, mentoring his team, or spending time with his family.
Patrick & Lily Steffes
Lily and Patrick are the Co‑owners of Johnny Rodriguez the Salon – Plano at Legacy West, where they proudly represent one of North Texas’ most respected salon brands alongside Johnny. With more than 30 years of combined experience in the beauty industry, they bring a powerful blend of operational expertise, financial strategy, and people‑centered leadership.
Lily’s background in Operations and Patrick’s experience in accounting and finance create a balanced partnership rooted in clarity, structure, and long‑term vision. Their shared mission is simple: to help people grow, succeed, and build the life they deserve.
For them, success isn’t just personal, it’s about cultivating a culture where every team member feels supported, valued, and empowered to thrive both professionally and personally. They believe that when stylists are fulfilled, inspired, and confident, they deliver exceptional experiences that elevate every guest who walks through the door.
